| True story. The day I met Russell for the first time was when I bought my new bike. He was in the shop, hanging out, like people do in the shop. A guy came in with his son to get a new tube for a Schwinn Stingray rear tire. Having no idea that I was there getting my own bike the guy asked The Mrs. was Russell ours. It was a logical assumption there being a fair skinned kid with an afro in the shop with an interracial couple that they would be related. Me, I didn't even know the kid's name. Anyway, Russell's real mom was quite thankful that I get pictures of her baby risking life and limb for the entertainment of strangers. Glad to be of service. | |
