_MG_8268.JPG - Last year Noel and I had a discussion on the relative merits of shooting from teh deck as opposed to shooting from the floor. While I can see why shooting from teh deck would be preferrable:
1. Everyone was shooting from the deck. I counted no less than 7 DSLRs at Winter Splinter '08 ranging from my Rebel XT to an EOS 1D (and Jason holding down the lone Nikon) of these at least four found their way to the deck of the vert ramp. Dude, half of the thing is getting shots no one else does.
2. This perspective does add a little drama to even the simplest airs.
