It’s Never Easy…
I have never, not once, upgraded WordPress and not had the database die on me. Maybe I should just move over to SquareSpace…
Anyway, I’m starting over, again, hope it’s more stable this time…

Dude, next time, call me. I do this stuff for a living now. Seriously, my WP-Fu is strong and I’m always down to help out.
The problem is that the DB password that I remember is apparently not the DB password that my host thinks is correct. Which wouldn’t be bad because I have a password reset tool, because I’m the admin, only it should be called the “does nothing but tick George off tool,” because that seems to be its actual function. I remember enough SQL to have been able to root around in there and de hose some of it, but I can’t get in.
