While shooting the Steven Nowak 39th Birthday All BMX Riding Old Man Video Extravaganza (and Mini Mart) I took a few snaps. I’m not sure if I’ve really got a handle on it yet, specifically how it reacts to my camera’s autofocus and metering.  Anyway, here’s a couple attempts at doing something good…and failing.  Click for larger.

We’ve officially entered into the rainy season in Georgia.  I dunno, for some reason when I look at this shot I feel like I should be chased by an axe murderer or or a Blair Witch or that chick with the giant bazoombas from “Paranormal Activity.” (spoiler)

I live an almost completely “i” free life. I use a Windows PC.  I have a Windows Phone.  I even deleted iTunes from all my machines after they installed Safari to my machine as part of an iTunes “upgrade.”  All day, every day this is my one, true friend, a 120 GB, second generation Zune.

It’s a wonder any of these weren’t quivering messes.

 

The Mrs. proclaimed that these are the coolest chairs she's ever seen and they smell good too. I can neither confirm nor deny either of those claims.

Rail's Eye View of a Train

During "The Season" this train is busy showing people around the area. Now it's just sitting there, waiting for people to take bad photographs of. Rail level view.

Lawn Sprinkler as Work of Art

As with many things, The Mrs. invented this in a fever dream of wanting to learn a new craft, but never got around to actually making it so someone else beat her to the punch. Ooops

When the wind caught this it became hypnotic in a way that made me forget that my testicles had receded into my torso for warmth.

Ghost Bike

There was a Ghost Bike next to this alley, which is a logical place for a Ghost Bike. But then it looked like someone was using it as a planter, so I don't know if it was in memory of a dead friend or just part of the decor.

You can ring my beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllll, ring my bell (ding-dong-ding-dingalingaling)

Here you go, folks, I drove through Virginia so that you don’t have to.
